# Calculate custom (landed cost) duties

With this API, you will be able to fetch custom duty rates for your shipment package.

#### Query Parameters

| Name                                             | Type   | Description                                                                           |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| request\_token<mark style="color:red;">\*</mark> | String | <p>Request token from </p><p><strong>Fetch Rates API</strong></p>                     |
| store\_checkout\_currency                        | string | Currency you want the figure returned in (must be a valid **ISO 4217** currency code) |

This cost is only available for 24 hours after initial fetching. If you want to book a shipment after 24 hours with customs duties, you would need to fetch the duty rate again before booking
